Raman Saxena		Usability Engineer & UI Designer Positions with CA, Hyderabad Job Overview: This position is responsible to provide support for conducting user requirements research, and usability evaluations/testing and UI Design of CA products. Key Responsibilities: Plan and perform usability activities. This includes project planning, test user recruitment, logistics, conducting evaluations, analyzing results, documenting issues, and proposing and prioritizing recommendations. Deliver UI Design in the form of documentation, suggested page designs, story-boards, or a moderate level of prototyping. Generalize usability findings to apply to corporate UI standards and consistency with other products. Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Product/Industrial Design from NID/IIT-IDC or related HCI discipline is preferred. Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of experience Designing UI, Conducting User Research, usability studies and testing of enterprise products Experience with Thick and Thin- Client enterprise software is preferred. Specific Skills and Exposure: UI DESIGNER: Requirement Gathering, Information Architecture, Storyboarding, Design Detailing, UI Standards, Prototyping skills using HTML, Flash, JAVA script, Graphic Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia) etc. Experience with Thick and Thin- Client enterprise software is preferred. USABILITY ENGINEER: Proven ability to plan and conduct User Research, usability tests, cognitive walkthroughs, heuristics evaluations, surveys, interviews, competitive analyses, card sorts, task and needs analyses, user profiling, and other usability methodologies. Some design and prototyping skills. Familiarity with Windows OS, HTML, JavaScript, Java, and graphic and prototyping tools. Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication, presentation, project management, and negotiation skills.
